Lilek Biss.....week 2

It has been now nearly two weeks since the launch of LILEK BISS....

It was last Sunday the 8th June, during a Eucharistic Celebration - 'A taste of heaven' that during the offertory we presented two wicker basket fulls of CD's. These were a representation of the rest of the items (it would be logistically impossibe to present the whole amount) and they were taken up by our three young ladies.

It was beautiful to see these CD's being presented at the altar as an offering of Praise to God.

Now that most shops have been supplied, we hope to hear of your experiences of praise while listeneing to this album. Lilek Biss....Gesu!

Finally the much awaited CD is ready and will be on Sale this week.

Really excited to make it available to you all.

I'v been trying to update on my WEB site, but I couldn't due to some technical difficulties, which sould be resolved ASAP.

You will be able to listen to samples of the songs at a later stage.

Lilek Biss is produced with a flow of praise and worship in mind, aimed at helping listeners enter into a prayer relationship with the creator. Featuring 10 original songs, including "Libbisna bil-Qawwa" co-writen with Robert Galea a re-vamped traditional hymn - "O Qalb hanina" and just one translated song - "Hobz tal-hajja" - which I'm sure everyone would love to include in liturgical Celebrations.

Again, like in previous albums I was blessed to have Mario Cucciardi, who co-authored "Imhabbtek" and wrote the words to "Int Qaddis". Together with Fr Karm Debattista MSSP and Mario who supported the Male vocals, this time I am blessed with my precious girls who did the female vocals. Well Done Judy, Rebecca, Leah & Tamsin.

"....Jekk ghandi lilek O Gesu ghandi Kollox" the much awaited new version of this song with Tiziana Grech as main femaile vocalist is also included.

Wow....What a Concert!!

A big THANK YOU to all who made the concert such a successfull event. Particularly Mark Agius (our maestro) & Fr Karm MSSP (our spiritual director/musician/singer/

composer....etc).

Another BIG thankyou goes to the whole choir, backing vocals and Band. The success of this concert is a result of the team work, the unity and the heart of love you have for the Maker. The Worship was the reflection of all this plus your committment.

What about the SOUND.....a mega thanks to Winston (Galmas Audio the guy in the pic) and the crew....Manwel, Ian, Mark and the rest....it would not have been the same without you!! Thanks Win. Thanks also to Dennis the lights manager...great creative works and effects.

Last but not least to my Rebecca who handled the lyrics screen for the choir....YOU were a great help...Prosit.

Coming up!! - EMMANUEL - The concert on the 9th December

Coming Up...EMMANUEL...God is with us!

Following a great time of Worship at the national Conference of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal here in Malta the choir together with the band are gearing up for this event. It's rehearsals with the choir, then rehearsal with the band then rehearsals again with the choir and again with the band then all of them together followed by a couple of weddings.....hhhew out of breath!! ........

That's in just two weeks it will be The Academy of Praise and Worship - IN CONCERT.....an event not to be missed...so if you do not have a ticket...make sure you get one. More details available on my WEB site (just click on the title ). It's gonna be GRRRREAT...Be There!!

Night of Light Praise Fest

This is an exceptional event!! Really looking forward to be with the youths from St Monica School Gzira. ...The Night of light is a yearly event that takes place on the eve of the feast of All Saints....yeh I know halloween....that's were it's comming from ...All Hallows night! the Hallows are the "Holy" ones.... the saints that is!
The evening will be hosted by myself and the band from the acadamy of Praise and Worship. My girls will singing with me and there will be dancing from my Girls, a group of girls from St Monica and another from Y4J.....plus more!

So ...Back again....really busy with National Conference preparations....we had a whole day with the academy of Praise and Worship last Sunday...It was really good!! apart from the time of Worship, annointing and equipping we had Fr Karm Debattista MSSP who celebrated Mass for us!! ...Great time!!
The Lord has marvels in store for the coming weekend..."Hajja bil-Kotra"...(Abundant Life)...we expect to see His Glory and in turn give Him Glory....so all of you out there please..please pray for me , the team and all the other Worship leaders who will be serving at this conference, that the lord may use us for his greater glory....AMEN

Recording New TV Signiture Tune - "Sejjahtli"

At last! Yesterday I went back to Tone studios to record a new Signiture Tune for the TV program "Sejjahtli" (You have called me). It's been quite a while since my last recording opportunity ....I missed the studio. As usual, working with Andrew Zammit is always great fun.
I am looking forward to a near future opportunity to record the next album. I have some fresh material, ideas and hopefully some new sounds aswell ....I will not give it all away at this stage...I want to leave just a little room for your curiosity...(mmm...)
